Palacio’s Mountain Retreat is a very beautiful place blessed with streams, waterfalls, sandy beaches, hills, plants and trees. The Retreat was founded in 1982 by our father Sgt. Augustus Palacio. He always said, “I love this place and it seems that every one who comes here falls in love with this place as well.”

Palacio’s Retreat has been in our family over forty years now. We provide our guests with a true Belizean Family environment, home made food and juices made from our homegrown fruits and vegetables. Furthermore, we can show you the pristine jungle surrounding the Retreat or take you on a walk to enjoy fresh mountain air and varied sceneries.

You could also go for an unforgettable swim in the crystalline water of Dry Creek, a unique bird watching experience in a luscious, a quiet space to meditate or begin your grounding, a massage or a complete wellness package. You will surely enjoy our inviting and relaxing atmosphere.
